HP IPG Partner Summit

This three-day event took place at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.  The purpose of these summits was to bring in the sales and marketing managers from HP’s largest distribution partners, update them on new products and programs coming that year and to conduct private, one-on-one planning meetings with each distributor and the various HP product categories. This entailed one general session, a solutions fair and over 26 breakout rooms.

For the general session, we decided to go with a late night talk show format, complete with host desk, visitor couches and a studio band. This lent a more relaxed, conversational feel to the presentations.

Similar to our other larger events, we provided ‘soup-to-nuts’ management of the entire program – from theme development to complete registration services, venue management, general session production, A/V support of all 26 breakout rooms, solution fair layout and management, décor, offsite dine-arounds, onsite support, survey analysis and reporting and overall timeline and budget management.

Given the location and overall purpose of this summit, the natural choice for a theme was ‘Grand Ole Opportunity’. This artwork was carried throughout all the event’s signage and communications.

HP tasked us to come up with a theme song. Being in Nashville, this was not a problem! Each verse was sung as the new speaker was introduced and brought on stage by the show host. It was a HUGE hit! By the third presenter, the audience was singing along with the chorus!
